How to Style Them
With no single dominant stone colour, these sit comfortably against almost anything — cotton kurtas, handloom sarees, silk for occasions. The darkened silver finish is what gives temple-style work its depth. Against cotton and handloom it reads craft rather than costume. Horse and deer medallions come out of the older temple-jewellery repertoire, where animal figures sat alongside deities on the same piece.
Perfect For
Weddings and special occasions — the oxidised silver and red combination pairs beautifully with festive silk sarees.
Care
Keep them away from water, perfume and lotion — those are what dull the finish fastest. A quick wipe with a dry cloth after each wear and storage in a pouch, away from other pieces that could rub against them, is all the upkeep these need.
